Who’s behind it.

My name is Mike Sember. For over a decade I worked in business software alongside construction and physical-world companies: hands-on, operationally heavy businesses that keep the built world running and are undergoing complex digital transformations.

I was hired onto the sales side of it, but the part that stuck was never the selling. It was the systems underneath. The way a business actually runs day to day. More than once, my process and systems-minded approach made me a valued member of an organization. Somewhere along the way I stopped just using those systems and started building them, and that turned out to be the work I actually wanted to do.

Latent Method is that same instinct, pointed at small businesses. I build or implement the technology a business runs on: the website, the automation, the quiet systems behind the scenes. And with modern AI tooling, one experienced operator can now deliver what used to take a whole team. That’s the whole idea. A technology partner, without hiring one.
